1st gen iphone wifi reception

I have been reading all over the web and can't seem to find a straight answer.
Some say sec gen iphone is better, and some say 1st gen is better, but what I really don't understand Is to make a wifi booster from the web, Is made out of metal?

This Is only about wifi, not 2g, or 3g signal.

All I want to know is will I have worse wifi reception with the 1st gen iphone, and If so why???

I believe they are the same. Did not notice a difference when I got my 3g.

They will be the same because the WiFi antenna is behind the plastic on the first generation, just like the second is covered in plastic.
