iPod touch 1st gen iPod Touch not working correctly

Battery stays dead no matter how many hours you had it charged, and turns off at random. And it's not the battery, already replaced it. All helpful advice appreciated!

EDIT: And Wifi doesn't work either

Might be the replacement battery was poor.
Good luck getting it going again as the first generation Touch is a great little music machine.
