Is this a sought after item these days? My parents had one sitting around that they hadn't used in years. Looking at eBay I see a fair amount of interest in these. Is the first and last PowerPC mini a collectors item?
I'm not very knowledgeable about the status of it for collectors, but I can say they're handy to have on hand. You can do quite a bit with them. I'm typing on one right now actually.

Nice!
It’s a cool little machine. There is something neat about the PowerPC era. I fired it up and it’s actually pretty snappy around the finder, etc.
I wish we had kept all of our old Macs. At the time though the feeling was “this thing is slow as death” and can’t wait to get into the new machine.

I agree! While my 733 Power Mac G4 is my main PPC machine, my Mini is my main PPC web browsing machine. If you have the means and the time, I'd highly recommend setting it up! There are many resources around the forum to help you get the most out of your Mac.
