My iPod Touch would not connect via usb at all. I charged it fully using the wall socket power adaptor. tried again & won't connect to high power usb on Mac Mini, PC at all. . So I restored in the order apple said and when nothing else worked, I finally restored by "erase all contents" as a last resort. I now get on the screen a blue itunes icon with a usb connector pointing to it. But it will not connect to ANY high power USB/itunes combination - but it will still charge via wall charger.

I tried 3 different & working connectors. Need help.

so what im getting here is that itunes doen't see it?
try a different USB port.

1st gen Touch will not connect after all remedies

Gee, what part of when I said above I tried it on a MAC, 2 PC's & among them about 12 DIFFERENT USB ports, did you miss? "Try a different USB port"? RU serious? Next time read the thread!
