I decided to actually arrange my apps and I found that of the 16 Apps that Apple pre-loads on the first page, I keep 7 and I might even cut that down to 6 or even 5. I found most of them useless, lol.

How many did you keep?

All of them. I don't like having any blank spaces lol. I just rearranged them to my liking.

EDIT: Here's my homescreen.

i keep the all the native apps on my first page besides contacts

I have everything about the same as the stock homescreen of 2.0 except with stocks replaced by Homework during school and Beejive during summer. For some reason I cant see putting more apps on the homescreen than Apple has displayed:p When Apple just had 3 rows and the dock back during 1.x.x days I thought "thats all i would ever want on my homescreen, anymore and it looks too cluttered." Said the same thing after they added iTunes and App Store lol although now i think thats as much as I'll put. I dont like the whole screen filled up

very picky about my main home screen..

kindle sometimes takes place of stanza, and twitterfon takes place of tweetie until the next update, since its kind of funky atm.

My Homescreen

Yes, they are all filled to the brim. All 11 pages are full. I have about 20 hidden Apps that can only be found if you use spotlight.

Or at least hidden

They kind of do. I hated the iTunes wifi music store icon so I turned on parental controls and blocked it. It hid the icon quite nicely. This technique is limited to what parental controls blocks.

I agree though, there should be a specific feature to hide them all easily.

I use the iNav theme (jailbroken) since I like really simple and clean looks. On my first page, I only have Phone, Text, Calendar and Email. Then I have links at the bottom that take me to other pages with more theme arranged apps.

I had Camera and Photos on another screen but the 3GS camera is so nice I had to move it back. :)

I don't mind most of the Apple apps except for Stocks. Wish I could hide it. It's way on the last page.
