Right now only Western Digital offers the product and it is a 5200 rpm. When are the rest of the hard drive companies going to pitch in with their offerings?

WD always seems to be the first, and they usually do it the best. Why? Are you skeptical about buying WD brand drives?
Not at all. But I was hoping for a faster drive. I read someplace that Toshiba has recently announced a 1TB drive that will spin faster.
i read that too...i think it said something about it shipping in a few months...im not sure though
