Hi,
I MRoogled a bit but couldn't find a definite answer.
Does anyone know what/if a 1TB drive you could use in a 2011 MBP?
What height does it need to be? 9.5/12mm?
Anyone know of any good ones?
Thanks.

im planing to buy one but the reviews said it doesn't fit the macbook pro 13 early 2011...

what model is yours? :(

You need a 9.5 for the optibay, and the 9.5mm models are faster than the 12.5mm models anyway, in some cases close to 7200rpm disk speeds.

12.5mm fits in the hard disk bay, 9.5mm fits in the optical disk bay, so you can use a 12.5, just not in the optical bay.

I've had this one since they were first available in Australia last year, and have three others in other machines, all perfect. A Momentus XT is like a woman, you have to know how to treat it, and it will take care of you in return. Seriously 90% of problems are user error, some are bad drives, but its not a high number.
