Anyone here have a 1TB drive in their macbook pro? I heard there's one that would fit in a 17" macbook pro. When do you guys think we'll start seeing higher capacities more widely available for laptops?

Western Digital Scorpio Blue. As to when we see things larger then that, I would imagine we see a speed increase in the drives before an increase in capacity.

There are 750GB & 1TB drives due Q1 next year from Western digital. You can achieve 1TB currently with two 500GB drives. (One in an Optibay, that replaces your optical disc drive)

I heard about the scorpio blue hard drive, but that only fits in the 17" at this point..do you mean next year they will be scaled down to fit in other laptops?

The 750GB and 1TB drives are 12.5mm thick. They will only fit certain laptops, including the 17" MBP.

The largest 9.5mm (standard size) drive right now is 640GB WD Scorpio Blue.
