So the day after I placed an order for a 1TB SSD from B&H, I get a slickdeal alert for a Micron 1TB SSD for $189. This is a new, not refurbished, OEM item (well, previously OEM only) from Smithbuy.com. I'm not exactly clear on the warranty, but it seems to be one year only, whereas every other SSD I've seen has at least a 3 year warranty. I realize this is an older model but anandtech gives it a good review for durability, and although not as fast as the vaunted Samsungs, it's still nothing to sneeze at, speed-wise, especially for replacing HDs.

Seems to be a good buy for back up, RAIDs, or us cheapskates.
