1x signal on iPhone 13 mini

I work in a crap signal area I’m looking at trying to get my phone into 1x to make phone calls?

I’ve had Samsungs in that area and can make calls on 1x

iPhone mini is a paper weight out there any way to make it go into 1x?

You can try turning off LTE and force it onto a lesser signal.
