I'm about to replace my logitech Z-2300 with a speaker set that produces better sounding (kinda getting bored all the boomy base :p). I enjoyed having them for good 4 years now though.

My considerations are:

SWAN M10
SWAN M12
AEGO M
M Audio AV40

I am tempted to get M Audio AV40 but i don't know how much base its capable of producing. Although I don't want an overwhelming bass like the z-2300 but I hope that I can definitely hear the low deepsound of it.

Aego M is quite expensive (~$200-250) and don't know how good it is for the price.

I'm reluctant to buy the SWAN M10/M12 despite their good reviews for having to place the on your desk possibly. I already have macbook pro with dell sp2309w, so it'll look very cluttered.

Those are my initial thought so far. I would appreciate anyone's review/comment regarding speakers and my concerns. Also recommendations out of those 4 in conclusion would be nice :) thanks
