What do you think? I know the extra 0.2Ghz won't be noticeable, but what about the video card?

I'm doing c++ development, and computer vision stuff (i.e. matrix math). I'd probably go for the 2.2 if the video card supported CUDA, but I have no idea how much support there is for ATI's cuda-like thing.

How much faster is the 6750M?

Also - is this a good price? EPP 2.0 ghz base 15" mbp for $1691 + 9.5% tax = $1851.

The card does not support CUDA as you say but what about OpenCL? Will you be interested in using OpenCL instead?

Video cards are unmatched in vector and matrix manipulations as you undoubtedly already know.

The jump in video card performance is quite large between the two but the processor is almost insignificant I think.

It comes down to how bad you want/need the upgrades and how easily you can afford the price jump.

Good luck.
