Hi, two times now I've tried to install the firmware on my Touch and everytime it gets stuck at "Restoring iPod software". I waited five hours over night for the first one, then I held the home and power button and manually shut off. Plugged it back in, and it said, this iPod Touch is in recovery mode, please plug in and recover and install. So I did that and it is stuck again at that same screen.

First time: 5 or 6 bars left
Second time: Only 3 bars...

It is not jailbroken and I HAVE taken songs from another computer if that helps. Also, I'm not using my home computer to download so, maybe that's it? I don't know...

HELP

I honestly have no idea. I say go into apple and see what they can do to it. I hope you live close by an Apple store. Other than that I dont know what to tell you. Try installing the firmware through another computer if you can.
