iPod touch 2.0 for Ipod touch current Iphone users question

any one know when will we expect 2.0 to come out? will it come out thursday when mobile me is realse or Some time friday im surprised apple hasnt said anything about this yet..
 
tomorrow at midnight (weds/thurs) is when mobile me comes, but you obviously need 2.0 earlier so u have it ready when you get mobile me. so i say late tomorrow night
 
Good i hope its tommorow nice cant wait to get Monkeeyball and MLb at bat :)
 
"THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!!" but seriously I can't wait either. I hope it does come out tomorrow night, but if not friday isn't too far away. I guess i can wait :(.

well, lets not go there. we KNOW that wont happen

first it was february, then march, then june, now JULY. apples gotta release this sometime

edit: changed time because it was really thurs at 12am... wasnt thinking :(
 
Steve said at the WWDC Keynote that the 2.0 software would be released July 11, this Friday, same day as the iPhone. Since iPhones will be going on sale at 8 am, I would expect that when you wake up Friday morning, you will be able to download it right away :D

Do NEW iPod Touches come with 2.0 standard? So you don't have to pay extra?

Actually, that evidence points to Thursday morning at 12am Pacific, which is only five hours before the first iPhones go on sale. Something tells me that they can get away with a phrasing problem if the time lapse is only five hours.

They never said that 11/7 was the day. They said "early July," which happens to cover a bigger time span than the eleventh day of the month at 8am.
 
I would guess tomorrow afternoon-early evening along with mobile me, if not, Friday morning is my guess. The things that confuse me, are that 8th paragraph says it will be available on July 11th, implying it could be released before, because it will be available on the date, not directly released then, it could very well be released early.

I damn well hope it's released tomorrow! If not, Friday isn't that long of a wait. :D:apple:
