I'm jailbreaking and unlocking a 2.0 first gen phone. It has the update that was leaked on July 10th, the one that I guess was meant for the 3g phone. Will I need to get a different .ipsw file, or will this one work? If so, how? I'm using a 3g iphone now, so Im just unlocking this one with the intent to get rid of it, and I can't seem to get the check for update option in itunes unless I set it up as my current phone again...:/ Am I just making things too complicated for myself?
