so I installed 2.0 and i notice that my iPod gets noticeably warmer doing the same things that my iPod on 1.1.4 can handle w/o any heat at all.

It did seem to get a little warmer when I was playing Texas Holdem, but that game drains the battery pretty quickly.

Yeah, for me it really did. Even listening to music, with 2.0 my iPod gets strangely hot after a few minutes.

if you connected to a wifi and ur geting heat up try turning off push mail or reduce the time thats the main reason cause the wifi will be checking the mail constaintly if your using push

Man Im glad Im not the only one! I noticed it too last night-- the iPod gets pretty toasty now.

so i'm not the only one.....

i was at the apple store earlier and most of the store iPods got pretty warm

And I thought it was just me using it more than normal, now that you mention it, it is hotter than the last one. (Usings apps, wifi, mail push ON)

turn off push mail when you dont need it i noticed it doesnt get as hot as quickly i seem to noticed that after i did

Usually I don't use wifi, so I have that off, therefore push can't be used, or, will it still attempt to, even if it is off?

Its a little confusing at first, hopefully I can clarify
