I remember awhile back ago there was this ability to take picture with the iPhone that Apple let you do. By press the home button and flicking the ringer switch. Well quite by accident i found out that if you press the home button and then press down the lock button, it takes a picture!!

Edit: Actually doesn't matter which button you press and hold first.

Pssh, more like a month and a half!
46 days 20 hours 23 minutes and 17 seconds until I cream myself with 2.0!
That's assuming they do release it at the Jobsnote on the 10th (maybe 9th).

Anyways, can't wait for all these exciting new features! :apple:

Edit: Oh and assuming it starts at 1PM like WWDC 2007 :p

I wish Jobs would have said early June and not late June, I think by him saying that, even a july release for the software is possible instead of june just like the February 2008 SDK accounement being pushed to March 6.

I agree! I don't think he'll let us down this time though. I hope he makes up for the February thing by releasing 2.0 at the WWDC keynote on the 9th or 10th (of June), damn I wish he read these forums...

That would be amazing. Oh, and one last thing. Firmware 2.0 available right now... That would be nice. :)

I am just anxious to know how fast 3G will be and if we can download apps while on the 3G connection/be able to watch youtube videos clearly. Only time will tell.

Correct me if I am wrong but i believe that Jobs said we would be able to download apps without wifi. Wether he meant over 3G, EDGE, or both, is yet to be determined.

I believe his words were "...over the cell network..."
So that would include EDGE and maybe a new speed, 3G or even...HSDPA *craps pants*

That's what he said, but that doesn't mean he wasnt referring to just 3G. I wouldn't put it past apple to do that, although i wouldnt complain either cuz its really not that big a deal.

He was talking about watching the wi-fi version of YouTube videos over 3G....nothing to do with apps.

And apps will download over EDGE just like Installer.

And hasn't this screenshot ability been documented like...a month ago? :D

I dont think your first sentence makes sense.

And yes, the screenshot ability was documented, but it was only a "apple made this, but they didn't allow it" thing that could be hacked back on. As far as i am aware, this is custom, and apple allowed it from the start.

Oh, lol...didn't read the first part of his post...sorry. Just saw the YouTube part =P.

No, I meant as in it was documented back when 5A225C was out.
