iPod touch 2.0 update

ok i just bought a prepaid itunes card worth 20$. i live in canada by the way. um i redeeemed the code and stuff, so i go and buy the 2.0 update, then its goes through billing process and i put none, then sends the screen back to the itunes store without nothing happening to my ipod touch...im pissed
what can i do?

The Canadian store hasn't been working with gift cards for software lately.
