I am planning to buy a macbook pro. I am not sure whether i should buy a macbook 2.2 and then upgrade to 4 gig and 200 gig 7200 rpm myself, or buy a 2.4 ghz and just leave it as it is. I will use it for some gaming, but mostly for music, schoolwork and some PS.

If you have the money, buy the 2.4 ghz and see how he 2 GB fits the bill. If it feels fine, start saving for some more ram to buy 6 months from now. If it's too slow (which I doubt) you can always look forward to getting 4 gb :)

i think ill buy the low-end and then upgrade it. It is both cheapest and it seems like i get a faster mac with 4gig, than with 2gig and 2.4 ghz.
