hi,

iv made a slightly dodgy purchase of a new 2.4 macbook. its dodgy because im not a student anymore since a couple of months ago, but im using the edu store anyway!

now iv been waiting three hours for order confirmation? are they on to me?! i dont believe anything would happen, other than having my order cancelled when they ask me to correspond thru my student email account - which i cant do anymore.

while iv been waiting (and stressing) iv found a 2.2 blackbook for £20 less than the new one. should i cancel my dodgy order and go with this? iv already bought 4gig of ram so that dont matter to me, and i dont really care about the other small differences as im upgrading from a G4 pb 1.67 so either machine represents a huge leap. the black colour, on the other hand is a big plus i think. for me anyway

thanks for your sage advice forthcoming.

Good for you. If you made the choice to change the order without hearing from anyone here, then clearly you felt it the right thing to do.
