Just curious because it doesn't seem to correct it on my iPhone anymore, if i type the F word, it doesn't seem to change it to duck anymore?!!!

Can someone else confirm this, seems like Apple is catching up on the vocab?

(Yes, it may be a useless thread, but i'm just curious)

Freaked me out the first time I discovered this, but it's been like that since the 1.0 days... when you type any word enough times it adds it to the dictionary.

Yeah you've probably just cancelled the autocorrect changing it to "duck" enough times that it added it to the dictionary. lol

deactivating the motherducking auto correction might be an option :)

I wish it was but my thumbs are way too fat to accurately spell.

I'm starting to agree with the poster above saying that it learned the f word after enough usage. I just tested and it showed up correctly without trying to auto-correct. Hmmm....let's hope it's not temporary. I don't wanna accidentally say duck the next time I am ranting like I'm Ari Gold.

Imagine that. OK, I'm going to go and see if this works:

duck
duck
duck
duck
duck

still not there yet...

duck
*uck

:D

Duck me gently! After constantly hitting the X button, now not only does it type *uck, but it also auto-corrects *uvk to *uck! Woohoo!
