Hello.
i have ipod 2G and i never updated it..
If i download and install the 2.2 Software Update will this update install the previous updates too?

Thanks

It will bring you completely up to date. The updates generally include the entire OS, so an update from 2.0 to 2.2 should go smoothly.

It's like updating a computer, it doesn't necessarily matter if you miss and update as the latest one always includes the changes made by previous updates.

Every latest updation, contains the all necessary update files. It doesnt matter, previously you have installed or not. Carry on buddy.

2.1.1 is the very first fundamental firmware for the 2g iPod so it wouldn't matter about previous firmwares really as they were all for the 1g iPod
