I have a mac pro 08 model and recently got 2 20" cinema displays and wanted to ask how to connect both monitors because the length of the cable that came nstalled into the monitors are not that long?

I have 1 connected to the rear ports, but wanted to know if i got usb and firewire hubs if i can hook the monitors to those to make the monitors usb and firewire port(s) active for use?

or are there any extension cable i can purchase for the monitors?

thanks!

so does anyone know of any cables that can extend the displays so i can route both of them to firewire and usb?

get a DVI male to female head extension. you may need a USB extension as well if you want to enable the screen brightness functions on the display. Not sure about the FW though. Maybe FW extensions exist

when i extend the firewire and usb and dvi, then the plug can go farther away from the computer correct?
