So, I know the spec differences between the two computers, and really, the only major difference is the processor speed. I am curious as to how significant it is. I plan on using this computer for multimedia work (FCP, DVDSP, Motion, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash) along with school stuff.

I know that there is a ram difference and a hard drive difference, but that's insignificant because I would be saving money if I go for the entry level MBP, ugprade the ram through apple, and buy a HDD replacement from macsales.

So from a performance side, is the price difference to get the 2.53 worth it or would I be better off with a 2.26?
