On the forum people are talking about how there will not be much of a difference between the 2.26 and 2.53 ghz models of the 13in. macbook pro's, but will it make a difference for running serato scratch and itunes at the same time (possibly safari as well)? I believe serato requires 2gb of ram and 2ghz, itunes has about 5,000 songs, safari if open will be downloading something. Will the processor speed difference matter?
Thanks for any help

Plus theres also no real reason to have both itunes and serato running at the same time as scratch live sources all of your music from your itunes library.

i have itunes open just in case i need to get a song that i dont have :)

No difference. I'm running SSL on a three-year old MacBook 2.0 GHz and it's as fast as I need it to be while I'm gigging.

i have the 2.26 one...
i use Torq for live gigs with it , i giged once since i have had it , no problem running smooth ...i used to have the white one before it works exactly the same ...
