Hi guys, I want to turn my Macbook into desktop machine with 2/3 (2now, third later) monitors which all have VGA / HDMI / DVI inputs.

What adapter should I use?

My MBP: Early 2011 13", 8GB ram, 500GB, 10.7.3.

Three monitors isn't very easy with a MBP. I'm not sure if it's really possible.

What I can say though is that if you want three monitors/screens you can get one minidisplayport to dvi, a usb dvi adapter, and then use the MBP as your third screen.

The USB adapter screen is going to be bleh at best. You can't really do a lot with it, but it's nice to have the real estate.

The laptop screen and the minidisplayport connected monitors will be responsive and solid.

That's how you would do a triple screen setup.

I hope that helps.

Many thanks for the Everymac.com link. I've been thinking about adding a second display since 27" and larger displays are so expensive.
