2.3 vs 2.6 GHz 15" rMBP

Last night I purchased the base 15" rMBP from the Apple Store.

Right after I got home, I was fiddling around on the Apple Store website and realized that I can custom order a 2.6GHz i7 in place of the base 2.3GHz, for only $100. I could have sworn the upgraded CPU was only available with the $2800 model, but I guess I was wrong.

I use my computer for general productivity, light-weight coding and gaming (GW2, SC2, LoL, WoW, Skyrim, all in Bootcamp). In your opinion, is it worth adding $100 and custom ordering the "better" model?

No, not unless you are maxing out the 2.3 there will be no difference in performance, the Quad Core CPU`s offer tremendous performance.

lol by .5 aka 50mhz. That isn't significant or noticeable at all.

Save the $100 and put it towards 16GB ram or 512GB SSD.
