2.39:1 Aspect Ratio in iMovie?

I made a video on my Nikon D500 of my friend bmxing and while watching it on VLC Media Player I can crop the aspect ratio and at 2.39:1 it looks really good for the HD quality the camera provides. However in iMovie I cant find anything on how to crop the aspect ratio, I know if I just change the aspect ratio its going to stretch out thats why i need to crop it.
Any idea's?!
