2.3GHz vs 2.6GHz Impact on Battery Life?

Anyone have any idea whether the 2.3 will have a noticeable impact on battery life of the machine overall? I've heard mixed opinions in the past about how a faster processor will "get the work done faster" which saves more battery life. Fact or fiction?
 
It balances out most of the time in my experience. Depends heavily on types of tasks done, not really worth worrying over for most users.
