It depends how the 3MB cache fares in benchmarks. I want to buy the base model, since I've realized that the higher models don't really offer that much more, but the drop in cache size honestly scares me. I would imagine that even with a 3MB cache the advantages to this new processor are probably worth it, but I want to wait and make sure.
