I just picked up a Viewsonic 22" monitor (cant remember the model # off hand) that also doubles as a 1080p television. It has an HDMI, DVI and VGA plug. I plugged the DVI into my Mini and the HDMI into my direct TV box and was hoping to use the VGA as a 2nd monitor for my black book. But when I plugged it into my Blackbook it would not show anything. Both screens would go blue and do nothing. If I unplugged the mini adapter from the laptop they both come back to life.

Is this a problem with VGA?
Should I use the DVI plug?
Can the Blackbook handle a 22" monitor?

thanks in advance

Oh I am. I usually dont look at the time of the post, I look at how many reads their are. This could have sat for 2 days but if it only had 3 reads I wouldnt have said anything.

Im sure the problem is just something stupid.
