2.4 Intel Core 2 Macbook (black) Memory

I currently have the original 2 gigs of memory and was looking to upgrade it to 4 gigs and i do not want to spend the 200.00 right now that apple is asking for. So i was wondering if was safe to install this memory that i found at crucial.

I did the scanner and this was the memory that was compatible with my macbook. just hope its a good deal and not going to be a headache and/or waste of money

It's what I use in my MacBook. It was $79.99 back in 2007. I thought that was cheap.

Synthetics show that my memory is slower than 2 or 1 GB.
