2.4 or 2.8 iMac?

Looking to buy a new 24" iMac soon. Either Black Friday or wait until Macworld. The real question is 2.4 Ghz or 2.8 Ghz? Here's what I work on... mostly video editing with Final Cut Express (I do a lot of major projects with video), photo editing, some design layout, along with everyday things like email and internet.

Any input or opinions would be appreciated.

Simple one: If you are on a budget then you should rather get more RAM and maybe more HD space. If money no Problem then you should go for the 2.8 an extra 400MHz is never bad.

If you are on a a budget then sped more on RAM and less on the processor speed as you will see greater results. If money is not a problem i do not see the need for the question.

Order the 2.4 BTO with the upgraded 2.8 processor, then upgrade your RAM by ordering from macsales.com. Remember, you can't upgrade your processor later.
