2.4 v 2.53 MBP

Did a search and did not find anything, which seemed odd.

I am looking at the 15" as it seems to suite me better than the 17".

I would like to have the 4gb of ram and 320gb HD, as well as Logic Express and Final Cut 4 Studio installed and will add photoshop.

I will be editing videos and minor photo editing. Will the 2.4 be fine, or will I benefit greatly from the 2.53?

I plan to keep this laptop for 5+ years.

Since your doing video editing and you want it for 5 years, i'd recommend the 2.53

You can't possibly think you were the only one to ask this question. The speed bump on its own is NEVER worth it.

I've found that the in-forum search is quite broken, so I use MRoogle.
