2.4Ghz i5 MBP, ticking noise normal?

Just upgraded my aging MBP to the new i5. But I hear a ticking noise from the hard drive. Is this normal?

I believe that's the OS forcing the hard drive to park its read/write heads whenever it isn't doing anything, in an attempt to save power. It isn't really anything to worry about, and I'm sure someone on here can tell you how to go about disabling it if you really wish
