Hi! I am planning on buying the new 15" MacBook Pro and have some questions (after researching on this site) that I hope someone can help me answer.
I will be using my machine for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, email & browsing, Lightroom, maybe some Final Cut Pro and the occasional Flash.
Here are my questions...
1. Has there been any tests/comparison on exactly how different the 2.4Ghz is different from 2.53Ghz? I can't decide if I should go all out and buy the 2.53Ghz. I think the 2.4Ghz will be a pretty powerful machine (I am upgrading from a 20" 2.1Ghz PowerPC G5 iMac with 1.5GB RAM) but definitely want a machine that will last me for a few years. Especially if that extra .13Ghz really makes a difference.
2. I am also going upgrade the RAM from 2GB to 4GB myself. Thinking about getting Crucial RAM... Was wondering if anyone else has any advice on the brand of RAM to get or to avoid?
This will be my first MacBook Pro and I will greatly appreciate any help on these 2 topics! Thanks!!
