2.5 Ghz vs 2.6 Ghz MBP

What is the major difference between them, to justify the extra $250 for .1 Ghz?

there will be no noticeable difference between 2.5 and 2.6 that justifies $250. Unless you have just money to burn, then 2.5 would be a wiser choice.

Yeah, how long are you gonna keep it?

If you plan on keeping it for like 1.5 - 2 years and then upgrading, don't bother. If you plan on going the long haul (5+ years) and feel like burning a little extra cash (sounds like you have it), then heck yeah go for the 2.6.

Honestly, ignore the poll results and just go off what I said. Most people are gonna vote 2.5 either because that's what they got (I did) or because they want the 2.6 but didn't want to throw down the money (understandable).

I think I will keep it for 2 years.

Next week I'm going for a new job position interview, if I land the new job, I will go with the 2.6, if not then the 2.5 will be enough.
