Under Your Bed . . .
very quick one here . . .

Going to ring up tomorrow and hopefully reserve a 2.53ghz MBP from my nearest store and go and pick it up from the shop in the afternoon, what are the chances that the store will have one in stock? No upgrades or anything like that!

Also, for the UK, what will I have to take in to prove I am a university student to get the full discount on the machine??

Cheers!

All I know is that there is no reserves for any macbook/macbook pros by calling or appointments. Its first come first serve so if they tell you that they just received a couple of new shipments, you better get your ass down to that apple store first.

I don't see why you'd have to reserve one. It's not like there is a huge rush on them. I bought one on the 15th, the first day they were avaiible and retail stores and it didn't look like there was anyone else in the store buying them nor did it seem like that had sold any before me. In fact, the sales man sounded kind of surprised that I requested the new version.
