Years back Apple released a memory, battery and display update to the iPod 5G which, due to the fairly conservative and minor update people nicknamed the 5.5G.
Is the iPod Touch update worthy of a full generation leap considering they just increased the CPU speed, added more storage and potentially added N-band support?
(and I may be wrong since I haven't looked too much into this, but wasn't there reports that the new update had a shorter battery life?)
