I'm considering selling my 2012 Mini server and getting a 15 MacBook Pro. Thought I'd get a sense of what market value is.

The stats are:

Like New condition:

Drive Bay 1 = 512 GB Crucial Mx100 SSD
Drive Bay 2 = Stock 1 TB 5400 RPM HDD
16 GB Stock RAM
Intel HD4000 Graphics
2.6 Ghz i7 Quad Core CPU

I'm curious what you'd be willing to pay for a mini as described. Your input will help me decide on a starting price on eBay.

1. $500
2. $500-750
3. $750-1000
4. $1000-1200
5. $1200-1500
6. $1500+ !

Cheers.

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), and Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Don't check just once source, but get an average from all sites for a more accurate idea. Some sites may be higher/lower than is realistic. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc. If the model is recent enough, you can also check the Apple refurbished store to see what similar models are selling for.

Last time I checked these were pulling a bit more than the refurb price. So don't go by that. Check completed listings on eBay, that should give you an idea.
