I was wondering something, which I couldn't find anywhere... How much shared vRAM does Intel HD 4000 have in the high end cMPR. I know my one (base model) has 384MB but I wonder if it is different in the high end model.

in mine 15 inch mid-2012 is 500 MB

Like the HD3000, putting in more than 4 gigs of ram takes the HD4000 from 384 to 500 mb of video ram.

You can get a base model and either pay for a RAM update from Apple (or do it yourself for half the price) and get the same result.

like the posts above said,

4 GB system ram = Intel HD 4000 with 384MB Ram
8 GB system ram = 512MB video ram
