Hi guys,

I am sure this question has been asked many times before, but my XP on bootcamp only has 2.71 GB of Ram? I wanna play GTA IV, but the ram issue is killing me!

Please help!

Will windows 7 Help?

Thanks

JOnathan

The "best" XP is 32bit thus it can see about 3GB of RAM.

64bit windows can see 3+GB of RAM.

I suspect you have the settings turned up too high or that it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card.

GTA IV is a bad port of a game anyway. I played it on a desktop with 5GB of RAM, 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo and a NVIDIA 240GT with 1GB of memory video card and I still had to set the graphics to medium settings and disable shadows and water reflections.

Windows 7 32-bit will take up around 3.5 - 3.75GB of total RAM. Go with 64-bit Windows, in my opinion.
