Maybe. I've seen antiglare at an Apple retail store but the selection was limited. I wanted the 2.4ghz but they only had the 2.8ghz. You'd just have to call around and ask. I ended up ordering one online.

Yep Century City in Los Angeles had the 15in 2.8 i7 AG in stock. Too bad I was looking for the 17in.

Yes. The Apple Retail Store has long since stocked a high end config of the MBP 15 with a high end CPU and high res screen. It now includes the 2.8 CPU

Yes, but it will not avoid taxes. You pay whichever sales tax applies to your state. Are there any sales tax free states left? If you order online at apple.com, you pay the same taxes (calculated based on destination address, regardless of who/where its ordered from). Shipping is free.
