2 ATI 6870 on Mac Pro, is possible?

XFX Double D HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 to my 2009 Mac Pro for 2 DVI monitors use, but i'm a gamer too and i like to add another one for Windows Crossfire gaming, i know the SLI is not supported in Mac but the Ati 6870 is low power consumption, so my question is:
is possible to use both videocards without additional external power on the Mac Pro? using2 6pin molex splitters, i have 4 Hardrives connected internally on the Mac Pro and 32GBRam.

You can run two cards with cable spitters but there are some on this board that will say that it's crazy to do so and will fry the power traces on the PCB. I doubt it will but who knows?
