Earlier today I decided to just let the ipad 2 play a photo slideshow, after about 10 min. it started going nuts, with the "slide to unlock" coming up constantly, it was on one pic for 5 min. before it changed.
Later on during the day in safari I went to type something in the address bar but it was acting like someone was just mashing on the keys as nothing but junk was going into the address field. Once I closed the virtual kb the screen was going crazy again, as if you are on a web page and try to zoom out but you cant any further and it just gumbands into size.
After this all touch motion ceased to function. Back on the home screen all swipes were ignored. I had to do a hard reset, which seemed to fix it for now.
