2 desktop set ups - one for general laptop usage, and one for desktop usage.

When I'm at my desk, I hook my Macbook up to a 22" monitor, using it in dual screen mode.

However, various things (primarily the dock and window sizing) need to change between 'modes' - I'd like to have my Dock hidden and left while at my desk, and visible along the bottom while about.

Would this be at all possible using accounts etc?

It's extremely annoying changing and resizing every time I move..

If you are talking about using different user accounts to achieve this, then yes, you can have one account set to hidden and one to shown. If you are talking about in one user account, then I do not believe so.
