2 different ipad with nearly similar apps

2 iPads has iBooks but different OS (older iPad with iBooks and newer Air with iBooks) and along with Pages on both, Microsoft OneNote, Evernote, Apple Notes on both, VoiceDream and others. If I use my older ipad for iBooks and ohters like OneNote and Evernote and Voicedream (read to page 344 and bookmark it on several pages). When I use the newer iPad, will I be able to read from where I stopped at say certain page of book in iBook, bookmarks from VoiceDream and others in process in Pages or OneNote? Advise? I currently sync one iPad on iTunes while other one is syn with company's iTunes. How to get those docs in sync on my new one at home? Thanks
