Hi,
i have a MBP uniboddy and a 24" LED cinema display. Is there a way for me to connect my old 17" display so i have 2 eksternal displays? (the 17" dispaly has DVI connection)

I have the matrox unit and it only has settings for two like-sized displays.

The USB units do work, but they do not have the best video performance. If all you need are extra pixels for something that does not move much, they are great.

Apparently OpenGL and other 'heavy' graphics stuff won't work on the USB display (for obvious reasons). It mentions it at the bottom left of the page I liked above.

um... so can u just buy any one of these USB to VGA/DVI adapters? As I am worried that if I buy a cheaper one from eBay or something, it wont be compatible with Mac. Did u guys need drivers for it to work?

Also, know of any cheaper alternatives?
