2 external monitors, laptop closed

Hello everyone,
I have been a 13" macbook user for over a year and love every moment of it.
I work on large spreadsheets daily with the laptop open and another 19" monitor. I am considering adding another monitor and keeping the laptop closed.
Is such setup possible? Have 2 screens on my desk, plugging the laptop to them, keeping it closed and working solely of the 2 external monitors?

MatroxDualHead2Go may take care of your needs. Some people are saying though it will only do the max resolutions with a full size dual-link DVI port like on the MacBook Pro (pre-Unibody)...but I'm not sure, never actually used it.

Alternatively, you can use your Mini-DVI port for one screen, and a USB-->Monitor solution for the other monitor.

is there no one here that has multiple external monitors running from their laptop?
