my daughter is on her way back from Apple store at Meadowhall in UK last week 2 green lines suddenly appeared down middle of screen, on iPhone X, contacted apple went 90 miles today only to be told it is your fault you dropped it!, she told them no way would she drop a £1000 phone, but they are adamant no problems with green lines they told her, so other people who have had green lines, are making it up also!she told them she will contact Apple uk only to be told we will pass all our infos onto them and as far as we are concerned you dropped the phone, so no they will not repair it even though it is only 7 months old, as you can imagine she is fuming any ideas most welcome

thanks for the info any ideas how to contact apple executive relations? as cannot find info anywhere

I had an intermittent green line/shut down issue with my 5s (albeit on a blue screen) which they replaced on the spot. Did they run diagnostics on it? Once emailed Tim Cook directly with unsatisfactory genius experience for my brand new Apple Watch. Received an email directly from the store manager less than 24 hours later for a no questions asked replacement. Might be worth a shot

Is there any physical damage including scratches, dents, or fractures?

Apple is pretty reasonable and something is probably missing from your story.

Did this Apple store in Meadowhall sell computers or fruit.
Maybe go with her, since she is a younger, and deemed irresponsible according to the techs there.

thanks for the 2 replies she is 42 so not a young teenager, nothing is wrong with the phone except of course with the 2 green lines, and lastly she took the phone back k to Argos where she brought it from and they exchanged it no problem, so problem solved, just goes to show that apples customer service is not 100% a is previously thought!! many thanks for all the replies, did appreciate them xx
